The big difference is the simplicity and speed of the payout. Together with its partner banks, Getmomo has defined a completely digital process that allows the investment, authorization, or redemption to be carried out quickly and without complications. Payments can be made within two bank working days and on first request. This means that the Getmomo bank guarantee is comparable to a cash deposit. In contrast to the Getmomo bank guarantee, the cashing of security deposit insurance often involves additional steps and uncertainty. On average, it takes between two and six weeks between the claim being established and the actual payment being made.
Getmomo only brokers bank guarantees from institutions based in Germany via the Getmomo platform. Getmomo is currently working exclusively with Vereinigten Volksbank Raiffeisenbank (vvrb.de), TEN31 Bank AG (ten31.de), Hamburg Commercial Bank AG (www.hcob-bank.com) and SWKBank (swkbank.de).
New tenants are created completely digitally in just a few steps via the Getmomo platform. The entire process takes no longer than 30 seconds per tenant. The property manager or owner simply enters the basic details of the tenancy agreement via the Getmomo platform (address, location of the rental unit, warm and cold rent and amount of the deposit). All other personal data is made available to the respective tenant after the invitation, which is sent to the tenant by SMS or e-mail.
Yes, up to two tenants can take out the Getmomo guarantee. Please note that both tenants must be listed in the tenancy agreement.
Yes, this is possible without any problems. In times of rising living costs and currently estimated high additional payments, the existing cash deposit can be easily and quickly converted into a Getmomo guarantee. Property managers and owners can settle outstanding claims quickly and easily and still have the same security.
